Researcher Support
A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the Military & Health Research Foundation (MHRF) fosters collaborative research and development efforts through productive partnerships among industry, academia, and diverse military and government entities to produce innovative medical, health, and wellness capabilities.
Focusing on R&D and project management expertise and the unique capabilities of our in-house and partner research teams, MHRF is committed to pushing the boundaries of scientific discovery and medical technology.
MHRF research team support begins at the earliest stage and continues through prototyping and scale-up to manufacturing. We guide and support partners along development and regulatory pathways and through our end-to-end technology lifecycle approach, beginning with a product development strategy and end-user feedback.
MHRF provides expertise in prototyping, manufacturing, quality, regulatory guidance, and commercialization.

Funding Opportunities & Submissions
All projects begin with funding.
Locating project funding begins with the Military & Health Research Foundation. MHRF collaborates with researchers to identify and capture funding for research studies and technology development efforts. MHRF actively pursues funding from various sponsors and is experienced with many different funding mechanisms.
Project & Program Management
Research project administration
The Military & Health Research Foundation provides full-scope research program administration services. From the pre-award stage, we can help:
- Develop white papers
- Establish teaming partners
- Develop and compile documents necessary for full proposals,
- Build quad charts and other required documents or forms,
- Submit applications in the federal systems (e.g., eBRAP, grants.gov)
- Conduct submission follow-up with agencies
MHRF is involved in all facets of medical R&D project management. From pre-award efforts to project closure, MHRF supports R&D efforts with expert project managers and project administrators. MHRF’s broad staffing network includes innovative and expert scientists, clinical and emergency medical professionals, laboratory professionals, engineers, and technology developers.

MHRF supports a wide range of events including research conferences, organizational meetings, and exhibitions. Through our master CRADA with DHA, partners can reach to MHRF to support their events. MHRF also provides strategic planning and strategic communication expertise.
